Joe Streich, PT, MSPT Founder and Co-Owner

Therapy Specialists of Oklahoma’s founder and co-owner Joe Streich values his client relationships highly. In fact, it was his goal to be able to work hands-on with clients to see improvements to their injuries and conditions over a decent period of time and get to know them that prompted his career choice.
A native Oklahoman raised in Northwest Oklahoma City, he attended Putnam City North High School, graduating in 1992.
He then attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO on a football/academic scholarship where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1997.
He returned to Oklahoma and worked in the fitness and sports development industry before deciding to pursue his chosen career of being a Physical Therapist. He moved to Kansas City and earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2000.
Licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Oklahoma, he is also certified to perform dry needling and is a very skilled manual Physical Therapist. His specialties include manual therapy, orthopedics, and sports medicine.
In the ensuing years, Joe gathered extensive experience in the delivery of care, as well as the practice management of Physical Therapists in private practice.
He is a long-time active member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association as well as a member of the Private Practice Section of the America Physical Therapy Association.
He is a die-hard University of Oklahoma (OU) football fan as well an Oklahoma City Thunder basketball fan. Joe also enjoys all forms of exercise and a good round of golf. But most of all, he appreciates spending quality time with his daughter, Sophie.
Samer Zantout, PT, MPT, OCS, FAAOMPT Co-owner

Born and raised right in Edmond, Oklahoma, Samer “Sam” Zantout began his education by graduating from Heritage Hall High School in 1998
He then attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology in 2002.
During his time at university, Sam also explored his passion for health care in orthopedics and sports medicine. He worked as a medical research technician in a biomedical sciences laboratory.
He then furthered his studies by attending the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center earning his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2005.
Upon completion of his graduate studies, Sam entered the workforce as a practicing physical therapist.
While working as a PT, he entered into an intensive three-year post-graduate fellowship program for orthopedic manual physical therapy.
After completion of his fellowship program, Sam was awarded with the distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 2010. He continued to further his expertise in the field of physical therapy and successfully passed the Board Certification in Orthopedics in 2011, achieving the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) distinction.
Sam has extensive experience in patient care and clinic management. He is an active and dedicated member of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association. He also belongs to the American Physical Therapy Association and is a dedicated member of the Private Practice Section and Orthopedics Section.
Sam lives in Edmond with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Luke, 5, Ava, 3, and Drew, 1.
He enjoys spending quality time with his family, attending Oklahoma University football and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball games, playing golf, fishing, being outdoors and working out.
Leigh M. Harvey, PT, MPT, ATC, MAT

Born and raised in Parsons, Kansas, Leigh Harvey graduated from Parsons High School and then moved to Pittsburg, Kansas to become a Gorilla at Pittsburg State University (PSU).
While earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Physical Science (May, 2002), she worked with the complete spectrum of teams as an athletic trainer for PSU.
Following her interests, Leigh continued to pursue her passion at Texas Tech University. While there she earned a dual Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (May 2006) and Athletic Training (May 2004).
During that time she was in charge of the sports medicine program at a local Texas high school and worked as a student athletic trainer with the offensive line at Texas Tech.
She is now a certified physical therapist and a certified athletic trainer. She plans to pursue a further specialization in dance rehabilitation. She started dancing when she was three years old and has always had a passion for it.
Leigh joined Therapy Specialists of Oklahoma in October of 2013. She specializes in sports medicine and functional rehabilitation. She has worked with multiple athletes from middle school to the pros (Kansas City Royals) in multiple sports including football, baseball, basketball, soccer, ballet, cheerleading, and others.
She chose a career in physical therapy because she wanted to have an exciting profession that kept her active. She started with athletic training and then moved into physical therapy with a sports medicine emphasis.
When she is not working she enjoys her family time with her husband, Ben, and her two young sons, Dane and Boyd, and daughter Layla. She also enjoys yoga, a good latte, going to church, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, crafting, playing the piano, and tennis.
Rich Hawkins, PT, DPT, OCS

Born in Pennsylvania but raised here in Edmond, Oklahoma, Rich Hawkins graduated from Edmond Sante Fe High School before moving to Seminole to play baseball at Seminole State College. He then transferred to Oklahoma City University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences.
Rich decided to pursue physical therapy as a career because it combined his love of sports and love of science. He was accepted to Southwest Baptist University’s program in Bolivar, Missouri. He graduated in May 2018 with his doctorate in physical therapy and joined the Therapy Specialists family in June 2018.
In his free time Rich enjoys playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and working out.
Josh Johnson, PT, DPT

Born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, Joshua “Josh” Johnson graduated from Edmond Memorial High School before playing basketball at Oklahoma Wesleyan University while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science: Pre-Physical Therapy.
Josh’s dad is a physician’s assistant, so he has been around the medical field his entire life. He wanted to pursue a career in the health industry, and after going through physical therapy after various sports injuries, he decided to become a physical therapist. He graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri in May of 2018, and joined the Therapy Specialists family in June. He became certified Dry Needling through the company Integrative Dry Needling (IDN) in October of 2018. He is currently working on furthering his knowledge and skills in Dry Needling and becoming an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
When he is not working, Josh enjoys playing and watching sports, especially basketball, football, and golf. He also likes watching movies and spending time with his friends and family.
Casi Wyer, PT, DPT

Casi was born and raised on a farm in western Oklahoma where she grew up playing small school sports. After graduating from Thomas High School, she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) to earn a degree in Health Sciences.
Casi was drawn to a career in physical therapy when she was researching jobs in which she could interact with people on a daily basis, encourage everyone to lead healthy, active lifestyles, and help individuals return to participating in activities they love and enjoy.
Following being accepted to the OU Health Sciences Center physical therapy program, Casi moved to Edmond where she met her future husband, Caden. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy in May 2019. Casi joined the TSO team in June 2019.
Casi has a passion for orthopedic physical therapy as well as adaptive sports. In her free time, Casi enjoys laughing with family and friends, eating good food, drinking coffee, and being physically active.
Lance Ramos, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Ramos attended the University of Oklahoma where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science with special distinction in 2015. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center (OUHSC), graduating with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. During physical therapy school, he completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics, sport rehabilitation, and cardiac rehabilitation. In his final year of physical therapy school, Dr. Ramos was awarded the Jill Pittman Jones Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
Lance went on to complete advanced training in manual therapy through Evidence in Motion (EIM) where he learned from several of the world’s leading physical therapists. Additionally, he became a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in 2020. Lance’s treatment approaches include orthopedic physical therapy, spinal manipulation, dry needling, and sports rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Lance’s interests are spending time with his wife, volunteering in the community, playing with his dog, traveling, and fishing.
Alex Bray, PT Tech
Alex Bray graduated from high school at Yukon in 2015. Following graduation, she began attending Southwestern Christian University on a softball scholarship. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science and will graduate in December 2018.
After graduating from SCU, Alex plans to attend University of Central Oklahoma for a master’s degree in athletic training. She began working as a tech at Therapy Specialists in May 2018 to begin her career in the health industry.
In her free time, Alex enjoys playing softball, working out, watching Netflix, and spending time with her friends and husband Trai.
Makayla White, PT Tech
Makayla White was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. She graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 2015. Following High School graduation Makayla attended Rose State college for two years where she played softball and received her Associates in Enterprise Development.
Makayla is currently a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma and will graduate in May with a
Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After graduation, Makayla plans to attend Physical Therapy school at the Oklahoma Health Science Center in downtown Oklahoma City.
Makayla joined the Therapy Specialists team in October 2019. In her free time Makayla enjoys watching Oklahoma football, watching softball, and spending time with her friends and family.
Samuel Melot, PT Tech
Samuel Melot grew up with his family in Jones, Oklahoma. Samuel graduated from Jones High School in 2015. Following high school graduation, Samuel attended the University of Central Oklahoma. Samuel is currently at the University of Oklahoma pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Following graduation Samuel plans to attend Physical Therapy School at the Oklahoma Health Science Center.
In his free time Samuel enjoys spending time with his nephews and family, hiking, reading, playing video games, and going to concerts. Samuel always comes in ready to go with a smile on his face and joined our team in January of 2019.
Constance Scott, Front Office Coordinator

Constance is the "energizing, spunky front voice of the Bryant clinic." She was born and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma and graduated from Guthrie High School. Before joining Therapy Specialists in August 2017, she worked in administration at OU’s medical center and children’s hospital. She began working at Therapy Specialists in August of 2017.
When she isn’t at work, Constance spends time with her 12 year old son Xavier and their miniature pincer Romeo. She attends Xavier’s Little League and soccer games, and together they enjoy swimming, watching movies, and hanging out with family.
